Free padel courts at Gardens by the Bay are fully booked, but cancellations may reopen slots.
Gardens by the Bay is hosting two free padel courts at the UBS Centre Court on the West Lawn from Saturday, 19 September to Sunday, 11 October 2026.
The event runs daily from 8am to 10pm, according to Gardens by the Bay.
The Straits Times reported that the sheltered courts were unveiled on 18 September and are part of Padel at the Gardens, a collaboration between UBS and Gardens by the Bay. The report said court bookings in Singapore can cost between $90 and $100 an hour, making the free pop-up a useful entry point for people who want to try the sport.
Gardens by the Bay currently says all court booking slots are fully booked, but advises visitors to check back periodically because availability may arise from cancellations. Equipment rental is not free: the event page lists $15 per racquet and $12 per tube of three padel balls.
Players who already have a slot should cancel at least three days before their session if they cannot attend, so the booking can be released to others. Gardens by the Bay also says each person is limited to one court booking, and that bookings are for personal and recreational use rather than commercial activities such as private coaching.
